Media can be so good! I have made a goal
for 2015 to take the time to try to read a conference talk every a week so the
other day I was read one that was called" Grateful in any
circumstance" by president Uchtdorf. In it he talks about that sometimes
we only tend to turn to the lord in our struggles but we need to turn to him
often. I really liked Uchtdorf said,”How much of life do we miss by waiting to
see the rainbow before thanking God that there is rain.” This is so
true! I also liked when Uchtdorf said “Being grateful in our circumstances is an act of
faith in God. It requires that we trust God and hope for things we may not see
but which are true."
This really made me think because I tend to have faith but
sometimes fear at the same time and it does not work like this. It made me
think and try to work on this this week. I am thankful for this kinda of media
it makes me better and really think!
Great post! I am going to go look up that talk tomorrow and read it. Conference talks are one of my favorite things to study, as I always find something like this that is so directly applicable to my life. Thanks for sharing!
